    Hi

This ewe has lost her newborn and watches over the body while the Griffon waits his chance.

There is a sudden burst of action as she tries to chase the inevitable away

    cropped to balance the action

Interesting interaction between wild and domestic animals (and one sunlit and the other shaded). Looks like you were pretty close too! Looks like there is a bit of camera shake...but it seems to add to the tension of the image, I can't explain it well. Do you have a bit more top and left?

I think this is an interesting interaction.
I do wish I could see the top of the sheeps' head and a bit more room on the right for the vulture to fly into.
I like the position of the vultures head and the forward motion,
    Gail

Interesting interaction Richard that tells a story. You did very well to capture the moment, and I get the impression it all happened very suddenly not giving you much time to compose?

    Hi all
Unfortunately things happened suddenly here and I had little time to respond so I dont have top and left!
I did get some more images though not with the action. At least managed to pull the 100-400 back to 250!
