There was such a flood of postings of this species over the past few weeks that I held off on this one until now. Hope you're not tired of seeing them.

I love watching these guys at my feeders so no nuthatch overload here. Great pose, perch and BG. Exposure looked a tad bright at first but that may just be my screen angle. Cheers.
Very sweet shot of this cute bird. I like the interesting perch and clean background. Nice and sharp, but the feathers on the back look, to me, to be a wee bit crunchy.
This image ticks off all the right boxes from HA, detail, BG ,and a nice lichen covered stick. Well done

Nice image Bill. I love that perch. Lots of great detail. Also, great job on the flash. I wouldn't have known unless you mentioned it.
I never tire of seeing this Nuthatch Bill, its such a photogenic species, and the composition here is second to none..!! A beautiful image.
Sweet image Bill - beautifully exposed and lovely detail,
Cheers Greg
Beautiful portrait, great pose and colors, Bill.
Hi Bill, lovely pose with the bill in line with the perch, and you have brought out the finer plumage detail nicely, together with the colours. Sharp for 1/400, and what a lovely smooth BG.
Thank you all for your kind comments.
