Tiny little Wren living in some of Australia s harshest of environments, beats me how they survive at all, very fleeting glimpse before she disappeared into the thorn bushes again

    Canon 7D + 500 f4 + 1.4 X TC....700mm, f5.6, 1/320, ISO 400, +0.3EV....using a tree branch for camera support, slight crop, slight sharpen and one leaf cloned out on underbelly

Great shot Phil, I never get tired of the little Wrens they always look so photogenic.

I love the eye contact and feather detail on this one.

    Cheers Charlie

What a cutie this little fella is! I love the soft colours throughout the image, and a sweet pose offered to you. I like the sense of habitat. Minor tweaks you could do are to eliminate the bright smudge near tail tip, clone out the small bright branch(?) lodged directly in the upper left corner, and tone down the branch below left. Highly appealing image!!

A lovely captuer of the female wren Phil. I Love the pose and detail in the bird. Despite their lack of brilliant blue, as seen with the male, they still present as such a sweet little bird that you never tire of. I endorse Daniel's tips.

Thanks for looking, I must sit back and eye closely my images to pick out some of the more obvious flaws...next time hopefully

Real nice pose and good detail in the bird. My preference would be to tone down some of the highlights in the BG. Cool little bird.

Cool little bird and you captured it well. Nice pose and exposed well. Full of feather detail. Great job.
