    Interesting look to the image...almost looks like a wood carving. Looks like you had quite dark conditions with the main light being provided by the flash. Nice colours and details. Wish for a better HA, and as posted you've got some pixelation in the BG which I am sure is not there in your full-size version.

    PETER:

    Sharp and well exposed,excellent subject isolation. I could see just a bit of toning down the green bit on the left, keep it visible, but since the rest of the BG is so dark, it does jump out a bit.

    Great shot.
    Nice pose, great perch, I really like the dark background as it makes the bird pop, and nice details.

    Rahdy you're probobly right. I left in in there hoping the bird wouldn't be too isolated.
