    Default Theme: Simple B & W

This was an image from south western Alberta, I parked the car by the side of the road. Using it as a blind I kept snapping photos as the bird kept walking towards me.
    Converted to B & W with CS5. Not much else..very simple .

This b&w is perfect for the stilt. Lovely upright position. I really like the very subtle reflection in the water and think it adds a lot to the composition.

Black and white was an excellent choice for the theme. Very nice pose of the walking stilt.

Paul, As others have said, perfect shot and B&W matches theme well. Even your blind was simple!

I agree with Nancy about the understated reflection. And with everybody about the B&W. It works very nicely for this image.

Paul,,,,nice detail in the bird and that beak really looks sharp! Nice work! I also like how the surrounding water is only hinted at leaving more focus on the stilt.

The high key look is nice. I like the composition with the inclusion of the reflection lines!

Everything works in this simple and lovely image. The B&W is just the thing to increase the simple feel. Love the hint of water.
