While I was shooting this girl came by and gave me a real good look. Out of 5 shot I got one I like. I would have prefered the tail to be more visable, but you cant have it all.

You did get a nice clean BG, and I like the low angle. The bird looks soft to me. It seems like you're focused on the rocks and leaves in front of the dove. Also there appear to be some cloning artifacts around the bird. Out of curiosity, what type of camera support were you using?

Gittos tripod a Markin head a a wimberly sidekick. It looks sharp to me and where do you see artifacts. I used single sshot mode and focusede on the bird and reframed.

You did get a good low angle, and eaxposure looks good. Agree with Doug on his critique. I don't mind the leaves in front of the tail as much as the fact that the tip is clipped. The clone tool is a powerful one but must be used carefully...obvious marks like the one(s) along the base of tail are surely more distracting than the objects that were there beforehand.

Philip, there is one obvious clone tool mark (the one above the leaf). The darker blended marks to the left of that too (although I could be wrong for those).
