    Getting closer
    This beautiful kite captured using the strong wind on the valley ridge, Valley of the Storks - Ourique, Portugal.
    I am standing in the open but luckily he wasnt to concerned, indeed I think he knows me lol

    NR and S&H, WHITE AND BLACK points set

    7D 100-400 F5.6 1/800 HH Manual exposure ISO 400 30 CROP

    RICHARD:

    Good that he is letting you get in closer. Nice wing spread, I like the comp.

    I am seeing a fine sharpening halo along the leading edge of the lower wing.

    Yes and more to come

    I see the halo now , smart sharpen was used but not aggressively
    might mask that off and not apply any there

    Great that you were able to get a closer shot of this kestrel Richard. Good flight pose and the warm colours of the bird complemented nicely againt the blue sky.
