    Taken in Feb down at Myakka, FL. My settings are silly, I should have dropped the ISO but at the time I was still shooting A/V and so not really on top of things.
    Here I liked the sense of habitat in the background, and the wingspread. I wish the head were turned a hair more away from us. Some crop, sharpening, NR and removed a green cast from the pelican.
    All comments and feedback greatly appreciated.

    Wow Melissa, best shot of a White Pelican I have ever seen. Excellent detail throughout and very nice bg to compliment the subject. Not sure you could have asked for anything better

    Pelicans always impress me, didn't realize you had a white version over there, lovely wingspread and liking a lot the natural backdrop setting, just enough dof I think

    Very nice Melissa. Love everything about this shot. Exposure is great and these guys arent easy to expose well. Sharp and full of detail. The landing pose is perfect. One to be proud of. Great BIF.
