    Stuart:

I like the strong climbing pose, sharp, well exposed, and the upper BG almost looks like mountains. A bigger presentation would really help this. Be sure to post at full size allowed, 1024h x 800 vertical.

    Cheers

Very nice looking blue heron and the background is great. I like the wing position and climbing pose.

Yep, liking the upward flight pose, thinking if it may need a tad more room on the top

Great shot! I love how there's still a bit of a background left rather than just a plain sky. However, Randy is right, it needs a bigger presentation, in particular, add more canvas to the top. Also, not sure if you did some editing on the right side, it looks kind of weird to me.

    Stuart,

Wonderful image. Great light, perfect timing, nice colors, and very nice composition.

I didn't notice it at first, but Raymond did point out possible canvas addition to the right. Clone stamp tool should take care of the unevenness.

I would love to see this one at 1024 px wide!

    Great shot!!
I really like the flight pose and angle. Very nice warm soft light and nice details.
    Well done.
