I shot this image a few years ago, when we visited the HMS Bounty that was docked in Riviera Beach, Florida. It was modified in CS4 including; Topaz Lens Effects, Topaz Simplified as well as DAP Watercolor and other normal image adjustments.

Mark: I like the strong colors and bold shapes. The diagonals and verticals work well together. The person sitting tells the story of the title. The only thing I would change is the speckles that are in many areas of the image. Did they result from the filters? To my eye, they detract from the bold look of the image. Thanks for sharing.
Mark, nice effect from the filtering. I might evict the piling w/ the gull on it if it were mine.

Dense, I considered that, but as this is a nature site, I thought it was appropriate for any "subject police" that might be lurking! ; > ) I did leave it there on purpose, to add a llttle more to the scene, as it is a nautical area where we saw the HMS Bounty. The pile and the bird jsut seemed appropriate at the time. But thanks for your comment, we've agreed to disagree in the past! ; > )
