    This tiny honeyeater is a blossom nomad of the dry inland of Australia.
    19/11/12. D800, 300 2.8, 1.7TC, tripod, hide. f/8, 1/640, ISO200.

    Now I know how hard these are to come by, Ive only had one encounter with them and visit the arid inlands often, and this is better than the shots I got so far. Liking the two tone backdrop and you've got the fine detail nicely, wishing this were my image Greg

    Nice detail ,comp and perch. Looks good on the exposure even though the sun looks a little high. Well done.

    Great bird, composition, perch, BG. Harsh light and aggressive sharpening did not help with the contrast, which looks strong.

    Hi Greg, well exposed on this fellow, and I like the inquisitive pose. I like how the perch meanders through the frame, and I like the colours in the BG.
