Default Ross's Goose Greets the Bosque Sunrise

When the sweet light combines with a favorable wind direction, you get the magic of the Bosque! This Ross's Goose left the Crane Pool in search of food in the best light of the morning.

This really does capture that light and especially the southwest color.
    Very nice.

    Doug:

The directional lighting is excellent, with nice textures accentuated, particularly like the rings on neck. Muted BG, full up wing position, drops, all nice!

    Cheers

So nice to see a Ross's goose instead of a Snow goose. Nice water drops to add to this beautiful photo.

Hi Doug, good flight pose with the raised wings, and just love the overall light in this. Exposure spot on, especially that we can see the detail on the neck, and that BG is sweet.

This is the image that everyone wants to capture and you did it perfectly! I love seeing the texture on the neck & the feather details under the wings. And of course, the sweet light makes the magic.
