From feedback in the Landscape forum I did a clone alteration of the rock in LLC. Processed in black and white with a touch of infrared lighting effect................Comments welcome.

I think this is wonderful. There's a great tonal range. The blur of the water gives beautiful patterns in the foreground. The rocks are glistening. All the curves and diagonals really add a lot. And the IR effect is perfect. I also like that the water in the foreground makes it look like you waded into the river to get the shot.

Jay - this is really beautiful. I love the way the light leads you down and thru the photo, and the soft dreaminess. wonderful

Jay, I agree with comments above - wonderful! I love how the light flows down and into the water from the upper left, and then continues down and around as water exiting the frame in the lower right. Very nice job!

This is a beauty. The light areas lead my eye from the bottom, curving upward along the river and into the trees, or, the reverse. The composition is perfect. The B&W is gorgeous. To my eye, the upper part of the curving light (in the trees) is brighter that the part in the water at the bottom edge, causing me to focus more on the trees. I wonder if balancing out the brightness might solve this. This is a minor issue in a gorgeous image.

Jay. This has a wonderful flow to the water and composition. I like the IR- I wonder if it could go a touch lighter? The ULC has a great look!

This really shines, pun intended! Love the lighting and flow of the image. Anita and Denise made good suggestions.
