This was a image of an astor flower field, always knew I was going to do something with it. I used Topaz Simplicity to get some of the colored outlines around flowers. Used various effects in Nik Color Effects to achieve the color I liked. Then used Fotosketcher to do what else? Oil painting. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

    Ciao for now.

This is my second visit to this image. The wonderful background colors made me return. That narrow border is a very effective element. The colored outlines of the foreground flowers -- particularly the one in the right center -- seem a bit intense. I think the image would be even better if they were toned down a bit.

Great Abstract, Paul. I like it as presented. The Colors, repeating patters and swirls through the image are captivating. This is one of those I could stare for a long time..................excellent vision and processing!

Love the look of this. A soft glass like glow.

I really like what you did with this image. Wonderful look and feel. The colors work so well together, and move the eye throughout the image. The effects you used result in a pleasing image. My personal taste would be to tone down the effects on the one flower that you are highlighting. For me, it stands out too much. Just noticed the border--excellent. Beautiful work.

I like the repost. I think the toned down flower works better with the overall image. I do feel a bit sad at losing that brilliant flower, though. Maybe a version in which most of the flowers were like that?
