    This is the second frame during a take off. The hunt was unsucessful at that spot.
    She had two out of three good one on that day.
    Today she had an awful day.
    She had about eight unsuccesful hunts.
    Thanks for looking.

    Another nice one from the bird that keeps on giving Karl. A nice sharp eye really brings the focus in. Exposure looks spot on.

    I like the flight angle, sharpness, eye contact and complimentary setting. Excellent image Karl.

    I have to agree...terrific in flight capture. great look from the hawk and the sharpness/exposure is spot on.

    These take-off poses can be a challenge, and here we can see that the critical focus is on the talons...the head is a bit softer, but not by much and you should be able to add another round of sharpening quite easily to it. Fantastic pose, exposure is spot-on, and the low angle and habitat are terrific. Well done with this series Karl!!
