Taken near sunset on a Fort Myers beach last May. I was lying down using the Skimmer Pod. There was some heavy courtship going on and I'm quite sure this was a male rushing over with his prize to a female. I liked the raised foot, the position of the wings, and the background. I only wish the fish's head had been towards us rather than away.
Thanks so much in advance for any comments and critiques.

Love the pose and low angle. The light is real nice. BG looks good. HA not bothering me especially with the fish in his mouth.

Great low shooting angle, excellent picture, Melissa. Love the raised foot showing the claw and the fish in the beak.

Sweet Melissa. I love the background and nice detail in the bird. And, of course, the sharp raised foot and the fish. There seems to be a double catch light in the eye that I would reduce to one - loosing the left one I think.

I like the raised foot, low angle, gift, HA, BG and composition. I would try to coax a little more detail out of the blacks on the head and remove the dust bunny on the breast below the water drop. Well done Melissa!

Lovely image and light, plus the low angle enhances the level of intimacy with the tern. I just bought a skimmer pod, and am looking forward to using it in the Fort Myers area in middle January. Very well done Melissa.

Lovely capture, Melissa. I really like the light here and the raised foot. I am seeing a slight green cast, easily fixed with a color balance adjustment.

The raised foot adds life to this one, loving the slightly open wings too, background is silky smooth, very nice indeed

Thanks for all the comments and stellar suggestions. Here is a repost. I took out the green cast, the dust bunny, one catch light, and eked a little more detail out of blacks on head.

The OP was good...the repost rocks! I agree with you about the orientation of the fish, but all else is top notch.

Very nice Melissa! The soft side lighting gives this one a nice 3 dimensional feel.

Spectacular IQ on this, it has a soft look but is sharp at the same time, if that makes sense.
    Great angle!

This one has some sweet movement in it!
Very nice seperation of wings and tail, creating this great "flow".
Agree that the fish does not show particularly well, but all yes rocks.
And yes, the repost is even better.
