    FYI
"Nikon has released a revised version of its recently withdrawn D3 firmware update. The company has updated the 'B' firmware to V1.11, and has reissued the previously withdrawn V1.10 'A' firmware."

    From DPreview

    Also on RobGs site: link
Rob's link has more detailed info on the update.

Mine is in and working, seems fine so far. That was a quick turn around by Nikon, about 2 weeks after the problem was found until the fix was posted....kudos to them! :D

I updated the firmware last night. Went out to shoot this morning for a little bit and everything seems to work fine.
