    Hello everyone.
While out the other day I found one of these guys hunting for mosquitos. It put a smile on my face to know they are back. I have had real good luck with them. Here is a shot I captured before the sun went down.

    Robert -

Beautiful image. Really like the vertical composition, the earth tones in the bg, and the included perch. Colors are wonderful, as is the exposure. The head tilt is just right and the catchlight adds to image.

I might consider another (slight) round of selective sharpening on the head and eyes, just to help them pop a bit more.

    Robert:

Good points from Miguel, the colors, perch, very nice.

I am OK with the sharpening for my tastes.

    Sweet.

    Cheers

Good job overall here. Neat perch, and I like the soft late light.

Hi Robert, perfect placement, and love the soft light and colours on the bird. You have brought out the finer detail nicely.

The light here and the way those warm colors all work together are the stars here. Lovely image, Robert.
