Hah! Made it outside yesterday, well outside my back door anyway:)

    MIII, 300+2x @f7.1, ISO 400 (200 would have worked fine) 1/2000,-1/3

    Thanks for your time!

................. and that little guy was probably saying ......"what is Nonda doing out the door"

Works very well for me Do like the pose and look back a lot. Complementing tones and excellent placement in frame !!!! Just fine !!!! ..... btw I don't think you will find much quality difference with the ISO up to 400? There is an article on DP Review which might be interesting. It is for the D3 but do give ISO info for the MK3 as comparison. Informative !!!

Yea the shock value of me outside stops birdies in their tracks:D I'm being rather serious too.

Thanks Alfred. On the ISO, 400 seems to be where I'm at most of the time and does the job, rarely have enough light for 200 anyway. Will go read DP.

What a great little Chipper Nonda!! Love the colors in the crown and upper back - nice and sharp too!! Ok, maybe the sun could be more over your back, but I'm not really complaing :)

Very nice shot. I like the position of this guy and the 'what are you doing?' look he is giving you.

Very nice Nonda, excellent head angle, and sharp. The shadow is the only thing that distracts me a bit.
    I like it.
