    Default Paynes Prairie #3

Here's another blur from Paynes Prairie. I used Topaz Adjust Cool Tones on this one at about 30% strength. Thanks for looking. I really am so thankful to live close to such a wonderful place. The sandhill cranes will start arriving after Thanksgiving but the numbers vary every year depending on how much water is on the Prairie.
I'm off to the Bosque Del Apache in New Mexico to take Artie and Denise's IPT so I'll be seeing lots of sandhills soon

This is my favorite -- so far, at least. The blur combined with the soft colors has been wonderful in all these. However, the additional blue in this one really sets it off. I think it's especially effective because it's at both the top and bottom. The intersecting diagonals are great elements.

This is a lovely blend of colors and textures. I completely agree with Dennis about the blues being so effective at both the top and bottom.

You'll have a great time at Bosque del Apache!

I also like this one the best, I might have even gone further and added more color saturation to bring out individual colors. Nice work

Enjoy Bosque it is a magical place for both birdwatching and photogrpahy. If you get a chance to go up to Sandia Park near Albuquerque..it may be a bit early but the Rosy Finches usually start showing up late November...these are tough birds to photograph anywhere else.
