    Great looking Tit, Frank. I like the pose, DOF, and the smooth muted background.

    @all, thank you.

    John, the background is a water surface.

    Solid image of a pretty little bird that reminds me of our chickadees.
    Lovely BG.
    On my monitor I see a purple or magenta cast,
    Gail

    Very simple , well done image. Perhaps just lighten the head a touch.

    Hi Frank,

    I have a group of Marsh Tits nearby but have not managed to get a shot as sweet as this. Very nice indeed - posture, head angle and great background.

    What do you think to using a little mask to reduce the sharpening a little on the back and the primaries - in these areas the texture looks a little over sharpened to me - just a small detail.

    Regards,

    Gerald

    About as good as they get Frank, perfect in every way, I'm not picking up any color cast, but my monitor is not pro calibrated

    Lovely image, nice and sharp, good perch and tidy BG. Not easy birds to get as they are so small and fast moving, well done.
