Hi all,

I have a friend trying to plan out a trip to Canada next year (prob June/July ish), and he wants to know about a good way to see Grizzlies. He will be in the Vancouver area, and is also planning to visit the Island for a few days.

What is the best way of seeing Grizzlies based on his itinerary? I know that there aren't any Griz on the Island itself, but I seem to recall there are a good number of tour operators who run day trips from the Island. Is a boating trip starting from Vancouver Island the best way? What about options starting from the mainland side?

Any advice would be much appreciated, especially if you have done this sort of thing before and can make any recommendations!

Thanks
