    Default European Eagle Owl Partrait

A captive eagle owl at the Malta Falconry Center, Malta. It was an amazing experience to see these magnificent birds up close. I will post more portraits in due course.

This is a beautiful portrait with bright clean colors and crisp detail. Those bright orange eyes are captivating. I like photographing captive educational birds to really show the feather details and colors that usually cannot be obtained in the wild. On my monitor this bird is very close to the right edge of the image. However at times my monitor cuts the right side off images so I do not know if it is me or you need more space to the right.
