Passing by.
This, what I think is a Black-browed Albatross, passed by the boat below eye level. Unfortunately due to weather we did not get out to were the birds are until about 12.00pm so the light was strong and harsh and coming from above. kept a few image though from the day.
1D MK4, 70-300 @ 221mm, 1/2000 @ 6.3, ISO 400, Manual mode.
Will be at Bosque del Apache with the BIRDS AS ART ITP in 3 days time. Got a long flight tomorrow.

Nicely composed image of the Albatross Tom and well portrayed against the blue water. The bird appears a tad bright on my monitor.

Hey Tom, You did a good job in relatively harsh light. Tonality looks fine from here. Some might prefer a bit more detail in WHITEs on the top of the head. Travel safely and sleep well. I am looking forward to meeting you on Tuesday. When do you arrive?
