    This one landed close by this morning, so I didn't need to crop much. Had to remove a lot of branch and leaf clutter in the bg, but I deliberately didn't just leave a plain blue sky.

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, Panasonic 100-300, hand-held, no flash, 1/320, f/6.3, ISO250.

    Some curves, nr, sharpening Raw file in LR4.

    Sharp and sweet with a great head angle for this pose. BKGR looks a bit pixilated in spots.

    I love the pose you've captured here Richard. Greatr feather detail and excellent lighting. A little 'Surface Blur' would help even out the BG IMO.

    It's sharp with a nice comp, but I will admit that this is one of my least favorite poses for songbirds. Not an image killer by any means, just my personal preference.
