Default White Faced Ibis at Sunset

Last week I was real happy with the fading light at sunset and the tones it created. The things it did it to the water and reflections caused me to get a little excited at which a few other photograpers no doubt laughed about. It was a beautiful thing I am sure I did not capture exactly as was but tried my best none the less.

    Hi Tim!

I really like this! The beautiful gold back ground looks moody, and the color goes so well with the bird. The metallic like feathers are glowing! Good action, and a nice foot raise. The bright wave almost looks like a spotlight for your Ibis. Very nice, and nothing to add for improvement from me!

There are several really positive elements in this image. Colours are excellent. I would give the bird more space at the top and maybe the bottom at well, to balance. If you are OK with cloning you could remove the emergent vegetation either side of the bird.

I really like this. I personally wouldnt clone out the rushes I dont think they detract from the picture infact I think they add to the composition. I do agree that it should have more room above it.

Love this. I agree a little more room above and below would be great. I'd leave the reeds in this one.

This is beautiful. Wonderful colors with the iridescence, well composed and an action of open bill/raised foot. Well done.

Very, very nice. More space would be nice. But I really like it as is.

    No Flash Jody,

Thanks for all of the feedback. I am over at Sanata Catalina Island waiting for a taxi as I am typing this. I am after the Bald Eagles but unfortunately at the mercy of a guide (taxi driver)

    Thanks again everyone.
