    Default Young Calf

When we went to see the sunflower field that I showed you in my last post, we also stopped by a small dairy farm that was nearby. Got some nice cow photos there, but the highlight was seeing and photographing this very young calf.

I replaced the BG using one of my own textures, then added one texture by Kim Klassen and one from Shadowhouse.

Very nice job with the textures, of course. Retaining part of the neck and the shadows was also a good touch. And I like how you framed it with the ears pointing to the corners. The border adds something extra as does that typical young calf look.

Hi, Christopher, I love the "calf" look. I think I'd tone down his (her) nose a bit. Great textures, of course

    Great pose...agree on the nose
being toned down. Real nice look to it Christopher. Just enough retained detail in the calf's coat..............

Very nice work Christopher, I like the eyes most especially! Maybe a hint more of the body? The warm tones are perfect.

Agree with above. Nice work. Nose could be toned down. I'd like to see a bit more neck too. Good eyes!
