Very nice separation from the BG, eyes are intense and both are visible and I can almost feel the cold with the snow falling that shows well. Very strong image, Jim.
It looks like he/she is very serious about business. I can immagine that he/she plucked out a big fish in the next moment.
Love te serious look on it's face.
Excellent , especially hand holding a 600mm lens. Bill
Great in-coming capture of the eagle Jim - sharp, good wing-span and well separated from the BG.
The BG is super, it really does look cold!

Nice incoming pose and love the feet hanging down. Nice job on the exposure and very clear and sharp. Great job..
Super shot great moment excellent focus. Amazing light he really stands out from the background. I note the dark plumage is dark, was this the light at thus time or is it something to do with the age of the bird, I ask purely out of ignorance because I have seen several shots posted recently where. the dark plumage is not so dark.
Hi Jim,
I just love the BG with the purple. The snowflakes add a lot as well. Overcast light really is nice.
Nice and sharp with great separation of bird and BG. I would like a sliver more canvas on the RHS.
Well done,
Gail
The pose looks good, because of the dangling legs, and I like the tilting body angle. I like the BG alot, but if anything there are three larger subtle OOF circles that I would try to tone down or eliminate.
Superb shot!!
Love the flight pose and the stare. Excellent background and exposed very well.
Well done.
Sweet pose and BKGR. Looks as if you had a lot better light than I had on my visit.

Really fine image. Like the diagonal line of the wings, the feet down pose, and the intensity of the bird's stare.
