    Default The Yoga Pose

It seems that fall migration started quite early this year compare to last year. Here's one of my shorebird shots, a Marbled Godwit, from Miquelon Lake Provincial Park, located SE of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

A great capture Raymond - love that stretching pose! You achieved a nice low perspective here, good IQ and BG. Well done.

    Very nice!
I like the low angle, good light quality, subject pose is really good, and a nice job minimizing the fg.

    Raymond:

Agree with the folks above, good shooting angle, interesting pose. Good angle of the bird in the frame as well.

    Cheers

Awesome pose, shooting angle and composition. IQ is very good considering stacked TCs. shows how good the base lens is.

Very nice pose and excellent techniques. My preference would have been a hair higher to eliminate OOF FG.....but personal choice there. All in all an excellent image!

A great image, love the leg raised and the slight opening of the wing, nice low POV( muddy knees np doubt), .really nice and sharp on my monitor you have done well with stacked converters.

Thanks! I thought about it, but probably a slight trimming will do, anything more would look weird composition-wise!

Actually, the results from the stacked 1.4x TCs vs a 2x TC show very little difference in image quality, except the AF is faster (just as fast as having a single Canon 1.4x TC), so I kept the TCs stacked for the extra magnification on the already sharp 300/2.8L.
