    Default River Blur

Another image from the recent Cades Cove trip. I tried several blurs of this scene, with only one that I liked. I had the shutter speed set at about 1 sec, and was trying out vertical blurs. This was the first attempt and I ended up stopping the camera movement before the shutter closed. More by accident than design. I wasn't too thrilled on the lighting of the original, so I tried a number of filters, ending up with a slight FRAC from one of the drawing presets. A bit of tonal contrast and NIK's Pro Contrast for a bit of pop.

    Hope you like it.............Comments welcome.

Very nicely composed, Jay. The slighter blur from the camera movement combines well with the blur from the moving water. I like the Fractalius effect and the fact that there's a mix of green and colored leaves.

Jay, I like the use of Fractalius. This has a nice ethereal look. Great OOTB thinking on this one!

Jay, you always do something magical to the lighting in your images and this one is no exception. The fractalius adds a neat look and I love the colors sprinkled through the image. Nice one
