Hi Chris, Im glad you didnt cut off the perch on the right of the frame, and I like the DOF in this. Lovely pose, sharp, and I do like the BG.

Lovely pose and light. The BG is terrific, and I like the character of the perch even though it's large. I would sharpen your bird a bit more.

I like the pose, BG, composition and fungus colour matches well with the Nuthatch. Nice image Chris.

    Hi Chris,
I am not loving this one. I find the perch quite overwhelming.
I do like the BG greens and the pose and the light.
I can't decide if I like the seed or not...

    Very nice shot.
Great looking background, I really like the pose and the perch.
Agree on giving it another round of sharpening.
    Well done.

Particularly like the color palette, bg and pose. IMHO the perch is too large.

Love the alert pose of the Nuthatch captured here Chrs. Perch shows some nice colour and texture but personally I find it a bit large for this small bird species. I seem to be getting some posterization in the BG on my monitor Chris - is just me?

Thanks everyone for comments,John it is not just you,my copy is alright but when I uploaded,I too noticed some posterization,as for the perch,in my woods they are always on tree trucks,or thick bows,I dont see them on thin branches.thanks again.

I like the pose and the pose and the composition. I think however the saturation is a little too high and I would suggest a touch noise reduction is called for.
