    Wonderful, wonderful capture! The composition, color and detail are all very nice, but the open beak takes it over the top! I might consider enhancing the catchlight just a bit.

    Super shot - boy you were lucky to get it sharp at 1/80 sec beautiful exposure and colours the pose of course is to die for!

    Hi Girish, well timed to capture the open beak, and great to see the tongue too. I agree this is sharp for such a low ss, and I too like the overall colours. Normally, I like my subjects higher in the frame, but in this, I would take some off the bottom.

    Excellent image, love the agape mouth! Fabulous BG. Although the results are good here, photographing at such low SS when there is alot more room to give you more is not the best strategy...you are bound to miss some good action images when those happen. Crank up the ISO!

    Very nice image. I like the bird pose, color and the nice soft BG. I am amazed with the sharpness at such a low shutter speed but I fully agree with Daniel's comment above.
