White balance: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 400mm.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are highly appreciated.

The high key image works well with this darker Bunting Satish. Always nice to see a perched bird actually doing something and this preening activity adds extra impact to the composition. Love that sharp eye.

    Satish:

Nice display of the crest, good head position for a preening pose [ parallel to sensor], well exposed. Good choice to go high key here.

    Cheers

Hi Satish, I like this lots and lots. Love the colours popping against the high key BG, and you have a good preening pose. If anything, I would move him over to the right a touch more.

Very nice pose and good choice on the high-key treatment!
The CA due to the edges looks a lil odd, you might want to try desaturating the blues/magentas along the edges :)

I love the colours, detail, preening pose and nice high key look. I also see some feather edge anomalies - e.g. that single spur under the bird's tail and the bluish edges in several places.

Looks good and sharp. Like the preening pose and the crest against the high key BG. Good work..
