Default Collared Inca in Colombia #2

Here's another try at the Collared Inca. He allowed me to get quite close and the image is almost the full original frame.

Sharp with a good exposure and nice detail retained in the WHITEs. The BKGR is so close to the perch that the details there are distracting. That goes double for the large angled branch right behind the bird. Best to try to attract the hummers to perches erected and set against more distant backgrounds, at least for my tastes.

Thank you for the suggestions. He was quite intent on holing up in that Cyathea cacassana while holding vigil over a patch of Abutilon but perhaps he'll settle on a more open perch.

Ditto Artie's critique and suggestion. I dig the actual perch, pretty neat.
