Judy, you made the most of your trip! I saw a small view of this on your FB page and thought it looked beautiful. I think you could crop a little from the bottom if you wanted to.![]()

This is beautiful, Judy! I love those drops and concentric overlapping circles. The color and the effect is fantastic. I too agree on the Cheryl's crop suggestion.
I'm with Cheryl and Indranil on cropping the bottom. There are several nice diagonals in the image. In addition to putting the rock lower in the image, I think cropping some off the bottom makes the diagonals even more effective.
Judy, agree on the crop. Great eye for this image.........and, nicely processed. The single leaf on the foreground rock is a nice touch.
Great eye spotting this scene, Judy. I love the colors and the detailed but painterly look. The water drops add a nice sense of motion to an otherwise still image. I agree with the others that cropping from the bottom strengthens the composition, but I also like all the leaves at the bottom of the original. So I could go either way.
Very nicely done Judy, crop is rockin....Your getting your moneys worth out of the rain...
Judy, Great looking image and nice job with the filtering choice. I agree some off the bottom puts your eye more on the lone leaf- great touch BTW!
Judy, the beautiful fall colors, the variety of textures (leaves, water, rock, moss, wood), the single leaf on the rock, and especially the water drops, all add up to a gorgeous image. Great use of filters. The additional crop at the bottom really improves the balance of the composition, IMHO.
Thanks everyone!! I had cropped it like that for one posting elsewhere but was torn between that and the OP. You all have persuaded me that is the better option so I will crop it and repost.
Repost with new crop!
