    This is another shot from a couple of weeks ago. I am currently trying to evaluate a 5D MkIII but since I have had it not a single owl has shown itself,and the light has been very poor.

    I like the look and the ambiance, those eyes are gorgeous. The IQ is not great however, most likely from the slow shutter speed or heavy cropping. I hope you can finally get a good shot of this handsome owl.

    A nice capture Jonathan with some pleasing light coming through the near wing. He/she was very obliging with the nice head turn..!!

    Hi Jon, great eye contact, and love the full downstroke of the near wing - easy to comp this. I really like how the owl is separated from the BG, and I know how hard you are trying to get that perfect shot.
