Hi Mark - Lovely image with nice details and great composition. I do find that the oof fg is a bit distracting, possibly because of how bright it is. Consider a burning it in a bit. I also think you can get away with pulling a bit more contrast on the bird, and possibly some selective sharpening on the head. Great capture nonetheless
Nice image. I like the eye contact and the detail seems good. I agree about selective sharpening the head and that a little boost in contrast would benefit this. I would also remove the OOF little twig in front of the bird. Perhaps a higher shooting angle would be better in this case.
