Deerplay
Taken from a recent trip to the Smoky Mountains. Crop from the top, then applied a layer of Frac, slightly masking out the faces. I used Bleach Bypass (NIK) to soften the background Frac application and adjust color. Also some shadow relief to highlight the faces,...Comments welcome.........
Hi, Jay, the frac is perfect on this image. It adds a lot of energy to an already energetic drama. I really like the idea of Bleach Bypass to soften the bg - haven't tried that yet but I sure will!

Hi Jay, excellent use of fract... love the composition and soft colors.
I especially like the frac in the foreground grass. Thanks for the idea of using Bleach Bypass to soften bg. I'm wondering if there may be too much frac on the deer, especially the antlers where I wish there were a little more definition so I can tell what is going on. It must be thrilling to be able to capture an image such as this.

Anita, good idea on masking the Frac on the antlers, may give it a try.
My favourite subjects...deer, well captured moments, furry animals work very well in fracs...agree with

I really like the colors and the fract effects on the grass but I would also like to see some of the brighter fract work toned down on the deer. It's kind of hard to see their faces and antlers.
