ID help please!

I thought that the bill on this bird looked finch-like, but I'm stumped.

The bill does look finch-like doesn't it! Looks to me like you have a female Brown-headed Cowbird. Nice photo of it too!

Thank you, Daniel! I was leaning toward that ID, but this bird did not look like any Brown-headed Cowbird that I have seen before. The field guides show fine streaks on the breast, which seems to be absent here. It must be the posture and head angle that threw me off.
