Phil:
The fruit adds a nice punch of color and story telling here. Sharp on the eye.
For me, the bird is a bit too big in the frame. A fairly busy environment, which of course is where he lives, but the bright spots of snow do compete for our attention, and you might consider toning them down a bit, esp the one above and in front of the head.
What is LNR?
Cheers
Randy
Nice capture of a nice bird, perhaps too close a crop?
LNR= Local Nature Reserve
Always find them hard to get in the open as they do seem to like "twiggy"trees.The detail is super. a slight turn of its head would make it even nicer and as already said a little smaller in the frame may be better. I may have cloned out the small branch on the RHS to just leave a blurred BG.Look forward to a hard winter and hopefully some of these near to me.
Very cute bird.Beautiful colors and details.Fruit does add to the beauty of image.Agree about tight crop.

Satish.
