    Satish:

Great colors, plumage and eye, which really pops. Open mouth gives some action to the image. Even though a bit square, I think the comp works well with this pose and head position.

Sharpening is right on the edge of too much for me, but I tend towards less rather than more, most will like it!

Hope to see more of this fellow!

    Cheers

Beautiful profile Satish. Everything is perfect on this one. Wide open mouth makes the shot special. Great exposure and detail. Love it and think its one of your best.

Hi Satish, while not a big fan of square crops, I like it in this case. The background is fine, and the feather colors are super. But, it's the wide-open beak and the bright red eye that make this image a standout for me. I do feel that backing off on the sharpening a bit would strengthen the image.

Stunning image: colors, eye, open beak, details. Square crop works nicely here. Well done, Satish.

I like the square crop here, the detail and the open beak. The image is way over sharpened in my opinion, otherwise very nice.

Gorgeous shot Satich - great exposure, I would suggest a little less sharpening, maybe just maybelower the brightness just a tad.

Great work Satish - wonderful moment, lovely colors, and spot-on exposure. I would agree w/ Jon and Randy about sharpening, but if its over sharpened, it's just by a tad. Not sure I would change anything.

Nice image, does seem very sharp on my monitor.Great pose to catch him in. Colours are spot on and the gray BG sets him off well. Cant seem to make my mind up with the square crop. Maybe because I am used to seeing mainly portrait and your mind gets used to seeing this. A lovely bird and one I wish to see in the future.

Love the calling pose and the colors are just over the top. The image looks a little oversharpened and I am seeing some halo effect around the beak. I just tried a vertical crop and personally preferred it to the square. Well done.

I like the open beak, red eye and colours. It looks a little over sharpnened to me as well. Nice close-up Satish!

Awesome image. Love the expression and life showing in the subject.
I also like the square format. The image is over-sharpened imo.

I agree with all the kudos, a very nice close up, the sharpening is an easy fix.

What a neat animated pose, and the colours are nothing short of explosive! Oversharpened from my end too. It may not seem like much, but the faint diagonal streak from upper bill tip to ULC should go...my eye just keeps running along it for some reason. All else looks A-1.

Hi Satish, great close up of the open beak, and although a touch bright, the colours are spot on. Your repost is a great improvement, and running some NR on the BG will improve it further.

You are posting some great images recently - keep it up.

Satish this is better, I too would say almost there, just a tad more NR on the background and fraction less bright.
