Well than cheers I would say

I do know that waterhole, did sit at the lowest part behind the fence, right at a light post ? For me it looks a bit like that.
The B&W is lovely done, for me. I would try to crop out a bit the upper part with all the other Zebras backs, just to see how it looks than. The main focus might would be more at the drinking Zebras.
    Just suggestion

Hi Rachel, I think the crop is the best from the situation, although I did look at a tighter one too. What would have been great is just to have only the three drinking, but that's in an ideal world.

I might be tempted to add a bit more contrast and perhaps using a subtle tint, reduce some of the whites in the water, but the masking bringing up the whites on the zebras, double processing? Just watch the eyes don't clog, likewise the blacks in the stripes as there is detail & tone in there which helps IMHO. Some more selective sharpening?

Hopefully others will chime in too.

    Nice scene here Rachel.
I agree that it needs a hint more selective sharpening and contrast. Steve's suggestion of carefully working the whites is a good one.
Personally I don't often add toning to zebra monochromes since they lends themselves so well to pure B&W ...

compositionally I think you did well with what you had in front of you - perhaps a slight crop from the bottom?

Thanks Anette, Steve and Morkel. I'll see what I can do with the whites and the others suggestions.

Well done with your choice in composition here. B&W looks good. I would consider cropping a tad from the bottom.

Initial nits were, this needs a boost in contrast and sharpening as Steve and Morkel were quick to point out.

Looks like you had a great trip Rachel.
