Default System check - losing fluids, must refill

Was following this lil hummingbird around for a shot. Got it in some decent light and shot in burst.
One of the images noticed that it actually is relieving itself mid-flight :D

Given that these little beauties almost live off nectar I'm guessing this is all they excrete?

    Canon 40D, Canon 400 f5.6 wide open, ISO 640, 1/5000

    C&C sought :)

    Cheers,
    Hayath

Hummingbirds excrete all the time in this manner - either in flight or perched.
Note that the diet includes small insects as well - you'll see them searching branches for small prey. So liquid isn't their only source, nor their only excretement

Thank you Alan and Daniel. Working on an uncalibrated work laptop screen...will surely revisit this.
