I think this is just fine with the color it has. There's great color contrast between the warm light from the window and the blues in the shadows. The chairs give a triple whammy. In addition to the reflections, they make a nice curve, and it recedes quickly into the distance. I very much like the composition, too. There are many important elements coinciding with divine proportions horizontally and vertically.
At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about the grate being there, but I decided it has a lot going for it. Without really competing with the chairs, it coincides pretty well with the curve, and it also catches and reflects the warm light.

Started writing this below before reading Dennis's comment, I agree with critique....
"The sunlight on the chairs, contrast the shadows in the rest of the image. Well done"

What a great composition! I love the light on the chairs and wall. Nicely seen and captured!

Cheryl, I don't know if this is a coincidence, or not, but -- in case it is -- the latest issue of Shutterbug has an article about an exhibit at the Harn Museum.

Dennis, that's why I was there
There were actually 2 Photography exhibits there. Unfortunately, I missed one at the Appleton Museum in Ocala that had a Steiglitz. I was one week too late. The blur I did last week was from the back of the same building. I'll have to check out Shutterbug. Thanks for the heads up.

Anita, thanks for the rework - I like it! I had tried cropping out the doormat (it's not a grate) and felt like it was too tight and I liked that longer diagonal shadow. I think I'll crop somewhere in between your version and mine and clone out the remaining mat. I hadn't noticed the white spot

Your solution sounds good. My crop makes the image a bit squat.
