One more of a Red Knot, taken along South Carolina coast last month. I liked the feel of this image, the knot seemed so serene. Sun was low, this was near sunset. I was lying flat on the beach near water's edge, using my ground pod.
Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques.

Hi Melissa, good looking shore bird, love the soft light and good detail on the wings and body. I also like the BG colors, good work.

    Wonderful shot.
Excellent low angle, love the light, great pose, and great comp.
    Very well done.

This is very nice. I really like the subject's warm glow against the cool blues of the water (and great smooth texture to that water). Perfect techs, good comp, nice details.

Lovely warm lighting on the Red Knot Melissa and your low perspective has paid dividends - well done.

Love the beautiful feather etching on the species. Exposed perfectly and full of detail. Good shooting angle. Very nice peaceful scene.

    Melissa:
Marvelous image of Red knot with beautiful colors and lovely details. It reminded me our Indian saints who stands in the holy river water like him.
I like the nice blue water, beautiful lights and tiny water droplet at the tip of beak.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Water and light are lovely here. You did a nice job of post-processing this one. Very nice details are evident in the feathers and I like the water on the beak.

Nice image, it does convet a feel of the last light of evening.Nice to see a knot in deeper water.Exposure, comp and colours are great. It seems like you are another one who will get muddy knees to get the best shots.!!
