    Hello All,
    I found this little guy on my recent trip to Namibia. It's one of the smallest Owls, I believe. For scale, spot the fly in the frame

    Canon 7D, 300mm 2.8 II, Manual, f/3.5, 1/800s, ISO 200
    Processed with Silver Efex Pro.

    Impressive DoF and bokeh. Love the textures on the bird itself and exposure is spot on. I would try to clone out the branch that passes over its head to eliminate that distraction and give him/her some more headroom.

    Hi Shreyas,
    Nice detail and exposure on the bird and I like the overall composition showing habitat except for the branch over the owl's head as Oscar mentioned. Agree that cloning this out would help the image.

    Neat little owl, but bummer about that branch above its head. I'd also prefer it looking down at us. I do like the BG alot, and the perch itself is good too (you could eliminate the little twig touching the belly).
