    D1X, 600, 1.4TC, ISO 125, f13, 1/250, -1.0EV

    Here's an oldie from 2004 that I have not posted before. This is full frame and shot with 5.3MP and ISO 125 :-)

    Perch was setup and Kingfisher baited with minnows in a submerged cage.

    Dan's right. Just shows that its not the megapixels its the photographer. Kinda like a golfer going out and buying a new expensive set of clubs. Game is still the same. Tons of practice with the old set is the difference. Beautiful pic as usual.

    Gorgeous, and a great gear vs. photographer lesson, as David pointed out.

    There is something so awkwardly charming about a Kingfisher's big head.

    Hi Alan,
    Wonderful image. Love the kingfishers and this capture really shows her off. Great detail and in camera composing. Excellent exposure and background.

    Too good Alan, if you had said that this image was taken this with a D4, I would have believed you The colors and detail in this image are amazing.
