    I never get a decent look at these guys, very common where I live but tough to get close too.
    I thought this one was OK, I was running out of light. This is at iso3200 unfortunately and a fairly large
    crop, but I liked the wing position a lot.

    Hey Dan. I like the habitat and the full downstroke of the wing. I might trim some canvas off the bottom. High ISOs and significant crops generally don't mix. You've done a nice job of controlling the noise, but you've lost feather detail as a result; the bird looks a little plasticized. I also see a slight magenta cast to the image.

    Good wing position and nice habitat. Agree on the cast.

    Good composition and wing position. I agree with Doug on the lack of detail, I'm sure you just needed a little more light -- wish I could help yo with that.
