Glad to be back online after 5 days of no power, light or internet -- some got hit by Sandy a lot worse than I did, so I can't complain. This is a Black Vulture banking over the Hudson River, shot from the Palisades cliffs in September. Cropped from horizontal and borrowed a wing tip from another frame.

    Bill:

My prayers go out to all that was in Sandy's path. I am glad to hear you are doing fine!

Sweet shot, I can never get them low enough to get a shot like this, always cruising to high. Sharp, great blue background, nice wing span.

Nice to hear that you are fine.
Good banking pose and details on blacks. Canīt tell which wing tip you fixed, great job!

Glad you made it out OK after that nasty storm. Good vertical comp (although you could add some above), sharp, and I like the hint of cloud in the sky. Looks like you neede to lift some shadows on the far wing?

Well captured Bill - great wing-span and nicely composed in the vertical format. I admire your PP skills Bill re the borrowed wing tip - Well done.
