    Default Fox Sparrow. (Red subspecies)

I took this shot yesterday. It is rare to come accross of an opportunity like this. Only in migration time and just for a few days if you are in the right place at the right time.
The birds prefer thickets and grassy vegetation. Seeing one sitting in the tree was a treat.
I had to remove three OOF branches and one in focus branch that crossed the little branch at the bottom then the the other slimmer branch and merged with the large branch at the top.
    Thanks for looking.

Lovely flash work and good PS work removing branches. I would consider removing bottom one as well. You were certainly luckygetting this species. Love their colors and also like the dark BG well done Karl.

Lovely portrait, now you mentioned cloning I can see where you did it, if you hadn't mentioned I wouldn't have looked for it!
Excellent detail and gorgeous colours in this little bird.

Great job capturing this bird in a photo! cool brick colour and light. I also enjoy the BG. I would clone out the branch on bottom.

Congrats on getting this guy - one that has avoided me so far. Nice pose and light, and good PP work. I wish the bottom twig weren't touching the bottom of the frame; since it is, I might take it out.
